KNOWLEDGE AND ITS NEGATIVE EFFECT...

Nowadays, sources of knowledge such as books, videos, audio, and apps are readily available, including Islamic knowledge. However, the availability of such knowledge can have both positive and negative effects.

Islamic knowledge, or Sharia, is valuable and applicable in any situation, regardless of how good or bad the circumstances or people are. But in the olden days, people had to make tireless efforts to acquire knowledge, unlike the lazy instant gratification generation of today. These days, an uneducated person can simply download or buy weighty books without any guidance or instruction.

However, simply reading voluminous books doesn't equate to knowledge. Without proper guidance and education, readers may develop negative perspectives on various issues, leading to terrorism or a lack of regard for Islamic principles.

As such, it's crucial to seek knowledge from pious scholars and listen to respected sheikhs who are admired for their breadth of knowledge and thinking capacity. By doing so, we can become educated individuals who contribute positively to society. Remember, seeking knowledge isn't just about reading books - it's about acquiring wisdom from knowledgeable individuals who can guide us towards a better understanding of our religion and the world around us.
