Alhamdulillah! I was not just introduced to the Centre for Bioresources; I was introduced to a wonderland of science. It is a place where waste is utilised to produce valuable products, where the seemingly impossible becomes possible. This place is teeming with opportunities for those who are ready to embrace them. In this world of science, good researchers and hardworking scientists work diligently to harness the potential of bioresources, finding creative ways to transform waste into valuable materials. Through their efforts, they contribute to sustainable practices, resource conservation, and the development of eco-friendly alternatives. Being introduced into this realm of science is full of responsibilities, dedication of time and energy as well as money (transportation, especially for students like me), curiosity, and a willingness to push the boundaries of what is known. It offers the chance to make meaningful contributions and be part of groundbreaking advancements t...

LIFE LESSONS FROM CELL BIOLOGY

Image
As zoology students, we learn many life lessons from cell biology, particularly in the chemical reactions that take place within a cell. It is not only the biological activity or chemistry of life that we learn. The cell, being the tiniest structure, offers many lessons, including leadership, unity, security, division of labour, and many more. The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life, where all the chemical reactions in our bodies occur. Through these cellular reactions and functions, humans have developed transportation systems, robotic machines, and various electronic devices. It's important to realise that the series of films you are watching is ultimately a product of these cellular processes. If we follow the lessons from cell biology, we will live our lives the way Almighty Allah wants us to. So to say, in everything, there is a sign indicating that Allah is one. Without wasting our time, which is always ticking (clocking), let us move directly to some les...
